Putting the fun back into fitness

Fun Fit’s mantra is simple. To start a fitness regime and stick to it we need
to have enough fun to want to do it several times a week. Easy. Right?

Remember as kids when we ran about like there was no tomorrow and never
got out of puff? The bike rides, the kickabouts, the sports days and the games
of tag. Did we ever think ‘I don’t have energy for knock down ginger today?’
of course we didn’t. And why? Because it was bloody fun, that’s why.

But, as adults, fitness just isn’t fun. The military general shouting in our ear,
the monotonous turning of spin bike wheels and the endless pounding of the
treadmill. Fun Fit are here to get your heart racing - like it used to.

There’s no complicated science in our action- packed classes and team
building days led by our team of sport experts. Our games and drills
involving cones, hula hoops, balls and bibs are simply designed to get
your pulse banging and your belly laughing.

Whatever your age, size, location or fitness level fun fit will work for you.

So what you waiting for? Contact us today and book your first session.

Changing your life with Nike +

If, like me you find running without a challenge or a goal rather dull, then here’s the perfect solution.

The Nike+ Sportband kit, which includes a sensor, will quite literally revolutionize the way you work out.

You’ll either need a pair of Nike + running shoes or a Tune Belt pouch to attach the sensor to your shoes. I’d go for the latter, it’s a much cheaper option.

The Nike+ Sportband includes free access to the Nikeplus.com website. Simply plug the USB receiver into your Mac or PC, and it will download to the site. This is where the fun really begins. The website records tons of stats including overall distance covered, best times, trophies, challenges and calories burnt. There’s even an online coach to motivate you too.

The challenges are easy to set up, and include members from all across the world, or if your friends are signed up you can set up your own private challenges.

I’m completely hooked and feel quilty when I don’t upload any activity. In the 3 months I’ve been online, I’ve lost half stone, covered over 672k and got my 5k time down to under 21 minutes.

So, if you’re finding it hard to motivate yourself then look no further. The Nike+ Sportband kit will be the best £40 you ever spent.
